Te'Keye' Lara is an intellectual and creative spirit who can usually be found chasing her twin boys or obsessing over an outrageously stunning renovation on HGTV. City hopping all over the U.S. with her wife brought its challenges as a military spouse but having kids further highlighted the challenges of being different in a world that generally sides with sameness. It has been her mission to teach her kids to be good humans, to be their authentic selves, to walk in their truth, to love everyone, and embrace differences as strength and beauty.
